Why Shoes and Bags?
For most of us, grabbing a new pair of sneakers or a work bag is just part of the seasonal routine. But in rural communities, it’s a different story. A solid pair of shoes can be the difference between a safe walk to school for a kid or a much more comfortable day for someone working hard in the fields.
“Making the most of what we have is the simplest form of sustainability.” Rather than letting these items gather dust in a corner, we hope to connect them through our organization so they can be “reborn” on the other side of the world—and continue their journey with a new story.
More Than Just a Collection Box
Since this is our first time doing a big gear drive, we weren't sure what to expect—but the SINOX crew really showed up! A corner of our office has turned into a sea of carefully prepped packages. Each pair of shoes has been cleaned, checked, and packed with a lot of heart.
It’s a great reminder that our value as a company isn’t just about the tech or services we build; it’s about showing up for the community. This drive is just the start of how we want to bake sustainability into our everyday culture.
