From Space to Security: The Lockmaking Journey of SINOX’s Founder
Dr. C.K.Ling, once a NASA engineer, returned to Taiwan driven by a passion for his roots and founded SINOX. However, his first encounter with the lock-making industry revealed a traditional, outdated sector—lacking systematic operations and even basic mechanical blueprints.
He joked, "Both involve metalwork, rockets can soar into space, so why are these tiny locks so flimsy they rattle like maracas?"
Faced with challenges, Dr. C.K.Ling drew upon his aerospace research spirit, personally sourcing components and delving into every detail of lock manufacturing. This relentless pursuit of perfection has fueled 46 years of dedication and breakthroughs.
