Lock making has been in the history of mankind for centuries. The manufacturing techniques are well established, and have not been dramatically reformed as the lock itself. That was the situation when Sinox entered the business of lock making. Taiwan was not resourceful on original design then; OEM and copying were the dominating trends. After its initial stage of survival, Sinox gradually transformed itself from one of the local manufacturers to an R & D-oriented company that it still is today.

Sinox not only invests on hardware for production, but also emphasizes on investing for software such as R & D effort to create new products and research for new applications. We respect the original works of others, and are very proud to present the fruit of our effort: 80% of all products we sold are originally developed, and more than 100 products are patented overseas or domestically. The introduction of PL Series combination locks, gun locks, and computer locks are just a few examples of our effort.
